(Not funny)
It seems one of the bugs I reported (CAN-2005-0004) has even ended on ISS's
Xforce database. It seems, however, that they got the information from
Ubuntu's advisories (there was also a Debian advisorie DSA-647) since I
don't see any credit at http://xforce.iss.net/xforce/xfdb/18922 nor to the
Debian Security Audit Team nor to myself.
(Funny)
It seems that, along the way, 8-bit ASCII characters (like 'ñ' in my
surname) are lost. Debian and Ubuntu spell my name properly (as does
LWN.net), but the MySQL guys [0], Mandrake [1] and Gentoo [2] have
mispelled it every time. Unfortunately "Pena" means "Pity" in Spanish...
It seems that this is being done all over the place since a Google search
for '"javier fernandez-sanguino pena" -peña' turns out 5790 hits (vs.
47,900 if you just try "javier fernandez-sanguino peña")
Oh, I just found some I can poke at to get this fixed
(http://directory.fsf.org/security/system/tiger.html)
:^)

Javier
